CELTIC CONTRIBUTION CAMPAIGN
When quarantine caused us to close our doors, we rose to the challenge of educating our students at home.
But we couldn't have done it without our community.
The COVID-19 shutdown has also caused us to cancel our annual auction and other fundraising events, costing SHS more than $120,000 in essential revenue.
And we can't raise it without our community.
Proceeds from our auction and other fundraisers sustain two major areas:
1. Classrooms and important school programs like Meet the Masters, JiJi math, Accelerated Reader and Tech Pilot
2. Tuition assistance for more than 20% of our families, including those whose incomes have been affected by COVID-19
If you're in a position to help, we ask that you donate to the Celtic Contribution campaign.
Every donation has a profound impact. Consider the following costs:
- $100 - set of playground equipment for one classroom
- $200 - leveled novels for one classroom
- $300 - one Chromebook for our lending library
- $500 - the cost between 2020-21 tuition and the actual cost to educate one student at St. Hedwig School
- $600 - one month's tuition for a single-child family
- $750 - one overhead projector (ELMO) for a classroom
- $102,000 - the amount of tuition assistance that helped families in 2019-20
