What time should I arrive to the Auction?
Arrive at The Grand at 5:30 p.m. to check in, enjoy the reception, and take one last look at our Silent Auction items before the evening’s festivities begin. Dinner will be served promptly at 7:00 p.m., followed by casino games from 8:30–10:45 p.m.
What is the suggested attire for the Auction?
Casino Casual — come comfortable, polished, and ready for a fun night out. Think festive cocktail attire with a nod to Casino Nights and Bright Lights: rich colors, sparkle, smart separates, and anything that helps you feel ready to play a winning hand for St. Hedwig School.
Ladies Outfit Ideas: Cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, dressy skirt or pant separates, or festive accessories with a touch of sparkle are all welcome.
Gentleman Outfit Ideas: Tailored slacks, dress trousers, a button-down shirt, loafers or dress shoes, and an optional blazer or sport coat will fit right in.
What should I expect the night of the Auction?
Casino Nights and Bright Lights will bring our St. Hedwig community together for an evening of fun, fellowship, and generous support for our students and school. Guests can look forward to socializing, dinner, dancing, casino games, Silent and Live Auctions — all in support of St. Hedwig School and our children’s growth and education.
Who can attend the Auction? Are kids allowed?
All parents, faculty, staff, alumni, extended family members, community members, and prospective St. Hedwig School parents are invited to join us for this adult-only evening of winning hands, generous hearts, and community spirit. We suggest booking a sitter today!
Where can I purchase my tickets to the Auction? Where can I purchase sponsorship packages? Where can I donate to this year's Fund-A-Need?
Tickets and reserved tables will go on sale Monday, September 14, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Sponsorship packages and Fund-A-Need giving opportunities are also available online HERE.
What do I receive if I purchase a Reserved table for the Auction? How many Reserved tables are available?
Each reserved table includes admission, appetizers, dinner, open bar, “funny money” for casino games, and reserved seating for 10 guests. Reserved tables are limited and will be available for $3,000, so be sure to purchase yours when tables go on sale.
*Seating for non-reserved tables will be on a first-come basis when ballroom doors open.
What if I can't make it to the Auction? Can I still bid on Silent and Live Auction items?
Yes! Even if you can’t attend Casino Nights and Bright Lights in person, you are welcome to support St. Hedwig School from afar by bidding on Silent Auction items and purchasing Buy-It-Now items.
You can also purchase Golden Tickets for $100 each for a chance to choose any Live Auction item before bidding begins. The winner need not be present but must have a designated event attendee who can select the Golden Ticket winner’s Live Auction item.
Unfortunately, those unable to attend will be unable to bid on Live Auction Items unless you have an onsite designee who is willing to bid for you, under their bidder number (i.e., under their credit card).
Will I be able to purchase Auction items once the evening has concluded?
No, the Auction will close at the end of the night and there will be no items available for bid post-Auction.
