What is the Auction all about?

The Auction is the largest annual fundraiser for the school, and provides additional financial support to offset expenses, keeping tuition affordable for all families. Proceeds also directly benefit students by funding an identified item meant to enhance the learning environment.

Who is invited to the Auction?

Any adult, grandparents, god parents, parishioners, clergy, teachers, administrators, community members wanting to support St. Hedwig School.  Sorry no kids and no childcare available.

 Can I Bring Friends?

Of course!! Anyone over the age of 18 is invited to attend as a guest

What happens at the auction?

From the time the doors open, guests are invited to bid on a variety of silent auction items while enjoying beverages and appetizers at a no-host bar. When the silent auction is over, doors open, the band will play the first set, then we will have a Live Auction  for amazing items.

What Type of Auction Items  Are for Sale ?

The hottest selling items at the auction are usually our teachers gifts and special priceless items such as homework passes, limo rides to In N Out with a teacher, PE Teacher for the Day, special class artwork, pajama parties.

We also have amazing experiences such as tickets to USC games, vacation home rentals, sports memorabilia, local services such as car washes, dance lessons and gift certificates to restaurants. There is something for everyone, in every price range.

What is Family Donation week?

In order to support the auction we ask that all families to donate something of value to the auction to be sold. It could be sporting tickets, family events, use of vacation homes -  one year we even had a puppy. Some families choose to team together for an experience. Gift cards and gifts of cash are also welcome to help us round out items donated. **Family donations are not part of classroom donations organized by our amazing room moms**

What if I can’t attend the auction?

We understand that not everyone will be able to attend. However you can purchase raffle tickets or sponsor a teacher , you can also make a direct donation through our registration website.

What do I wear?

Dust off that 80's promo dress if it still fits. We highly encourage shoulder pads, mullets and neon. Of course it's up to you. Be yourself and wear what you like, the point is to support our school
